Starry Night
Founded in 2011, this Artist In Residence program located is in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.  Self directed artists, writers and researchers are encouraged to apply. The residency includes a private studio apartment with full kitchen and bath, shared studio space.

The Living Room
A sweet and comfy bar located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Opened in 2009, I designed, managed, and a few years later, sold this bar.

The Homeless Papers
After years of working as a counselor in a homeless shelter, I headed out on a research project in which I traveled around the United States to eight cities and posed as a homeless person in need of basic necessities – a meal and a place to sleep, maybe a shower.  I did this in an effort to better understand the circumstances of the homeless people I had been serving, and to test and report on the information and referral services in each city.
