Here’s a list of some ongoing projects.
Starry Night Retreat
An artist retreat and residency program that is set to launch in early 2011. It will include a 1 month residency at a nearby gallery where you artists, writers, performers and film makers are invited to focus on their work, have a show, and give a public talk about their work, all while enjoying daily soaks in the hot springs that are on the Starry Night property. Until the launch date, we are busy in the build phase – installing the hot springs, fixing the leaky pipes and furnishing the units to make them comfortable and inspiring.
The Living Room
A sweet and comfy bar located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. I co-own this bar with my partner, Clay. We are due to celebrate the one year anniversary of the opening on Halloween weekend. Come join us!
Homeless Papers
Sorry, no link yet. I went around the country to eight cities in eight weeks and posed as a homeless person in need of basic necessities – a meal and a bed, maybe a shower. Then I reported on the state of the homeless service systems that I encountered in each place I stopped.
