I used to paint and rewire incandescent lamps and paint realistic and abstract oil paintings. Then I started making installations using recorded stories, LED lighting and glass.  After that my fascination spread to include field recordings, fiber optic lighting and other materials that seemed fit to diffuse or reflect light, such as coffee filters, plastics, rubber balls, styrofoam, and paper. Recently I helped design a bar that I opened with my partner, Clay Roach, called the Living Room.  (Those are light boxes in the walls.  I couldn’t resist.)
