You know who you are.
My door is always open.
It will never be too long, and it will never be too late.
My love will remain forever.

After Forest of Souls was selected to be in the Tacoma Spaceworks ArtScapes program, They wrote about it on their blog, courtesy of Lisa Kinoshita, who also owns the Tacoma gallery, Mineral.
And then it was written about in The News Tribune, which was a pleasant surprise, to say the least. I am especially thrilled to have been covered in the same article that reviewed the incredible work of Vancouver based public artist Jill Anholt.
The Forest was included in Weekly Volcano’s Five Things To Do Today. Which was nice of them.
The ever delightfdul Amanda Manitach wrote this little post about it, among other things: http://www.myheroesdiedofsyphilis.com/my-blog/2011/01/monika-proffitts-forest-of-souls.html. Isn’t she a doll?
And then it received a critic’s pick here. Have you seen the piece yet? It is up until March 20th, 2011.

Here is a little press about my latest installation which is set to be up for three months starting on the Winter Solstice.
Now, if only the rain would let up so I can put the finishing touches on it.
